Adult Diversion Support

Helping you take responsibility, make amends and move forward

If you’ve been offered Police Diversion for a minor, first-time offence, FRST can help you meet the conditions and get back on track. We offer confidential, non-judgemental support for people who want to take ownership of what’s happened and make meaningful change.

Our role isn’t to shame or punish. We’re here to help you figure out what led to the offence, understand how it’s affected others (and yourself), and take steps toward a better way forward.

Pre-Marital Counselling

For couples ready to build a strong foundation for life together

Marriage is a big step. And while planning your day is exciting, it’s just as important to prepare for the realities of life together.

FRST offers a relaxed, down-to-earth programme for couples who want to strengthen their relationship before tying the knot. Unlike traditional church-based counselling, this service is non-religious, inclusive, and tailored to the everyday challenges Kiwi couples face.

Blended Family Counselling

Helping blended whānau find their rhythm.

Bringing two families together isn’t easy. Even with the best intentions, blended families often find themselves navigating unspoken expectations, emotional ups and downs, and the unique pressures that come with parenting and step-parenting under one roof.

At FRST, we offer safe, practical support for couples and families who want to make blended life work, not just on paper, but in real, everyday moments.

Whether it’s parenting disagreements, loyalty struggles, tension between children and new partners, or conflict with ex-partners — we’ve seen it all. And we know the difference it makes when families have space to talk it through, gain new tools, and feel supported.

Clinical Supervision

Professional support for those who support others

When your job involves walking alongside people through crisis, harm, or trauma, it can take its toll. Whether you’re a clinician, caseworker, social worker, lawyer, support worker, teacher, or frontline responder, the emotional load of your work can build up over time.

At FRST, we offer clinical supervision that helps professionals stay safe, resilient, and grounded in their work.

Supervision isn’t just a compliance box to tick. It’s a chance to slow down, reflect, strengthen your practice, and protect your own wellbeing. So you can keep doing what you do best.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Specialist support for staff wellbeing, safety, and performance

When personal issues affect people at work, everyone feels it. From rising absenteeism to reduced productivity, unresolved stress can ripple through a team fast. Especially when the challenge involves conflict, family violence, or workplace behaviour.

FRST offers confidential, short-term support for employees and their whānau through a tailored EAP model designed to meet real-world needs.

We combine trusted counselling services with specialist expertise in behavioural issues, trauma-aware care, and family violence, areas where many generic EAP providers lack depth.
